De Rush Farm is a resort, not a farmhouse
The name comes from the orchard it was built in. What stands on it is a private 1.5-acre resort — twenty proper rooms with air conditioning and running hot water, two swimming pools, a fifty-seat air-conditioned restaurant, an eight-hundred capacity banquet hall and an open lawn, all behind one gate.
Where it is, and why that matters
Sal, in Bicholim — inland north-east Goa, where the Western Ghats come down to meet the plain.
Green, quiet, hills on the skyline, and deliberately away from the noise and the traffic of the beach belt. Everything worth seeing stays within reach by our own minibuses, and the two quietest places in Goa — Mayem Lake and the Arvalem waterfalls — are fifteen minutes from the gate.
- Mopa airport
- 50 minutes. Closer to us than Dabolim, which is about 90.
- Panjim and Old Goa
- Under an hour. The Basilica, Se Cathedral and Fontainhas.
- Calangute and Baga
- About an hour, by our own vehicles.
- Mayem Lake, Arvalem falls
- 15 minutes. The quietest corner of Goa, and most visitors never see it.
- Mangueshi, Shantadurga
- Within the temple belt, under an hour.
- Thivim and Karmali
- The two nearest railway stations.
The property
What is true here whatever you book
The kitchen is ours
Not a contracted caterer. That is the only reason we can promise your food, your way, at your meal times.
One gate
The whole estate is walled, with our own security. Take the property whole and nobody else checks in.
Our own vehicles
Coaches and minibuses, with drivers who work for us. No stranger your group has never met.
Generator backup
The hall, the rooms and the kitchen stay running. A Goan power cut will not end your function.
Private parking
Inside the gate, on the estate. As many vehicles as you bring.
Wifi throughout
Across the property, and reliable enough to work from.
Come and see it
Site visits any day, by appointment. Walk the property, meet the people who will look after your group, and taste the food before you commit to anything.
